Jonathan Harker's Journal (kept in shorthand)

Left Munich at 8:35 p.m. on 1st October, arriving at Vienna early next morning. From there on to Buda-Pesth, Klausenberg, and into Carpathian mountains, where I have come to set up a Web site for the Count.

In his letters to the London design firm where I work, the Count had directed me to leave the train at Bistritz and spend the night at a small inn there. My hosts -- a devout man and his wife -- fixed a fine stew, and have an impressive Web site promoting their bed and breakfast. (Memo: get HTML for Mina.) They are experimenting with a forms-based reservation system, but are unsure thus far whether to install a Netsite server to accept credit card deposits.
