Readers' Comments
I get lots of kind email--here are some my favorites.
The first edition of Web Design in a Nutshell became an international
best-seller and is the best resource for everything you'd ever want
to know about web design--HTML, graphics, multimedia, emerging technologies,
web-specific design decisions, etc. The second edition brings all
the information up to date and includes new chapters on Printing
from the Web, Accessibility, XHTML, SMIL, WML.
I am still really excited about Web Design in
a Nutshell, and here are just a few reasons why:
- It's the book I always wished I had for
looking things up quickly.
- There are no other
books currently available which cover as many topics in as much
depth.
- It provides information
for all levels of expertise-- easy-to-find nitty-gritty details
for experts as well as explanatory material for beginners.
- It's got a browser-support chart for every
tag, including support information on Netscape 2,3,4,6; IE 2,3,4,5,5.5,6;
WebTV; Opera; and the HTML 4.01 Specification.
